Travel Service has made guarantees to Kammarkollegiet as security in accordance with the travel guarantee act. The travel guarantee is a form of financial protection for travellers when their trip is cancelled or interrupted. The traveller can than apply for reimbursement under the travel guarantee.
A package holiday comprises transport and accommodation, or one of these services in combination with a tourist service which comprises a major part of the package and is not directly related to the transport or accommodation, such as a hire car, etc. A package holiday must be longer than 24 hours, or include accommodation. A package holiday is sold as a complete price, or as separate prices related to one another.
